The Ultimate Sugar-Free Tart

I fell in love with this Lemon Tart when I first started to eliminate sugar from my diet. I already love Lemony things and this tart is so smooth. With all this flavor and buttery crust, you really don't need a huge piece to be satisfied. This is a great shareable for any party, too.

Fish Fry-Day

Island Fish Tacos

Curtis and I had the privilege to take a cruise with our oldest daughter a few years ago. She was hired by NCL as a performer and we decided to surprise her on one of the trips. I absolutely had to have these tacos every day when Caitlin introduced us to this little hole in the wall grill on the Islands. I've tried to duplicate it the best I could and found this was as close as I could get without robbing the restaurant of their recipe. J/K

Hay, Be My Valentine

I was first introduced to these little bites of heaven for horses when one of our volunteers made them to treat our rescued horses. You can see how Hayden couldn't wait to eat one or 10! He would do ANYthing for these treats and could sense when a treat was in your pocket. Let's just say your horse (and all other equines) will mug you for these special treats. And they make great gifts.

Purrrfect Treats for Your Feline Valentine

I have cherished many furry little felines during my life. Many of them were fearless protectors of WHY Ranch. They owned every inch of the 5 acres ranch in Las Vegas. Before we moved back to MO, we found some very loving homes for them at surrounding ranches. Mufasa had the biggest personality ever and when I made these treats for him, he followed me around all day. Oh, how I miss him. I didn't have to miss having a barn cat for long. Our neighbor's cat, Myrtle adopted us right away. So, these treats are now for that mysterious little huntress.

Game Day Salsa

I selected this salsa specifically for my Super Bowl potluck party because it is bright, fresh, and scrumptious by itself, with chips, or over fish tacos. Any way you decide to serve it, it'll be a popular dish at your party, too.

Warm Artichoke and Bacon Dip with Pita Chips

Warm Artichoke and Bacon dip with Pita chips, is inspired by one of my favorite chefs, Giada. I made a little change by adding some portobello mushrooms for a little more of an earthy taste. This is a great recipe to make a few days ahead and just warm it up on Game Day...if there's still any left. I generally use a small crock pot and set it on warm throughout the party. Don't be surprised if the dip is gone before the evening is over.
